Outdoor First Aid is a specific discipline in First Aid that presents the rescuer with the challenges of prolonged care of a patient in a remote area before definitive medical care can be provided. In such situations, emergency medical services may be difficult to obtain or delayed and there are a number of unique skills required compared to the urban setting.
Throughout your course, you will be presented with a number of realistic and dramatic situations involving casualty simulation. This will challenge and enhance the skills and knowledge you have acquired from the course.
Our courses are for anyone, but are particularly suitable for those who work outdoors, for example, Outdoor Activity Instructors, Forest School Leaders, Tree Surgeons, Estate workers, and anyone who enjoys the great outdoors, to name but a few.
