Outdoor First Aid is a specific discipline in casualty care that presents the rescuer with the unique situation of prolonged management of a patient in a remote area before definitive medical care can be provided. In such emergencies, rescue and medical services may be challenging to obtain or delayed and there are a number of different skills and considerations required compared to the urban setting.
During your course, you will be presented with a number of very realistic situations involving casualty simulation and acting. This will challenge and enhance the skills and knowledge you have acquired throughout the course.
Our courses are for anyone but are particularly suitable for those who work outdoors, for example, Outdoor Activity Instructors, Tree Surgeons, Forest School Leaders, DofE Leaders, and anyone who enjoys the great outdoors, to name a few.
